Samsung created a new category when it launched the Galaxy Note. While naysayers were initially critical of its ungainly size, it did manage to attract a large number of consumers who were looking for a device that integrated the big screen of a tablet with the portability and convenience of a Smartphone. It even inspired other device makers to launch similar devices, though it's been hard for them to offer a differentiating feature.
What is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3? The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a slightly larger-screen stylus-equipped alternative to the Galaxy S4. It’s arguably a much more interesting phone than the Galaxy S4 too, although at £600 SIM-free this comes at a price. We’re not hugely into every design change Samsung has made this year, but this is a tech-head’s dream. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is looking to continue in the same vein as the original Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 2, offering you a phone which could almost be mistaken for a tablet and wants you to believe it's both. |

The Good
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a gorgeous and massive screen, screaming quad-core processor, and refined S Pen skills. It also has long battery life, makes clear calls, and takes great pictures.
The Bad
The Note 3 is expensive, large, and its faux-leather styling is crafted from cheap plastic.
The Bottom Line
Though its plastic skin doesn't do its high price justice, Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 makes the most compelling case yet for a supersize phone.
Review Of Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Some Reviews From Flipkart.com
1.50,000 for a mobile!! You're drunk, go
home samsung!
With a spate of manufacturers launching high-end devices, the focus has fallen on the pricing policy followed by them. While part of it could be attributed to the rupees weak health but what really justifies buying a phone worth Rs. 50,000?
With most high-end devices costing north of the 40k mark, does it really make sense to invest such hefty amount on just a phone?
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 : Rs. 49, 990
Sony Xperia Z1 : Rs 43, 000
iPhone 5S : Rs 50, 000
Most phones can get most jobs done without batting an eyelid. But these so called flagships are being repackaged with a better processor, an improved camera and usually a feature that is touted by the company as a killer feature. It is simply just so hyped to exploit us I believe.
Truth is these phones will be replaced within twelve months by the same company reselling a new killer feature.
Main Drawbacks of Note 3:
NO LTE (4G).
NO 4K Recording.
NO OIS (Optical Image Stabiliser).
NO FM Radio.
NO Snapdragon 800 Processor
Main Advantages of the Note 3:
- Bigger screen and battery.
- S Pen Stylus.
- User replaceable battery.
- Micso SD slot.
- Slightly better camera at 13 MP.
- Plethora of Samsung only features like Smart Stay, Air View, Air Gestures, IR remote, etc. Though these features are gimmicks, but, will lure many users especially young ones.
FINAL WORDS:
The phone overall is very good, BUT, the lack of few critical features like 4G (LTE), FM, OIS, etc and the hefty price tag makes it totally unviable proposition. The correct price of this phone should have been less than 37K, which is the price of the 4G (LTE) Snapdragon model in the international market
2.My impression of the Samsung Note 3
Day 1:
It’s been a day since I have this phone and this is what I think of the product.
When playing games on the device it tends to get HOT after 15 min of game play, the volume button and power get really hot after 30 min of play time
The phone with 100% change got switched off in just 5 hours of usage
Every time before switching the screen off I have to end all tasks just to keep it working as the RAM usage was showing 1.78GB all the time. Even when I have nothing on except the power saver option it has a RAM usage of 1.33GB
Samsung needs to send a software update for this soon or else its back to the Note 2
Giving this device 3 stars
Day 2: Tuns of software issues with the new software, ,most of all, I CANT ACCESS MY CONTACT LIST ANY MORE
Giving this device 2 stars
3.Fools, quickly get it, wise people
please stay away from this shit
"samsung" with whom you are competing? apple?
with the rupees drop india is getting poor day by day
and these drunk company want to loot away that is left over of india
guess its our fault and google's
if google would not have invented "android" we would have been so peaceful with our ios,bb symbian or java phones
secondly we stupid gamers are leaving consoles and pc's to play on these protable shits
with in 50k one can get dual nvidia gtx 660ti and can play all damn games on this planet
and can satify himself just with a lumia 520 or xperia l
its your choice how you want to play with your/your parents money
if you ask me don't buy any phones for 2 years becoz currently a "smartphone war is being fought by the companies". not a new thing we have seen earlier tab wars, laptop wars etc
