It's been a long time since Apple delivered unto us a proper redesign of the iPad. The original, boxy, first-gen tablet lived for about 11 months, replaced in 2011 by a far slinkier version. The tapered design language survived, more or less unchanged, for a further 2.5 years -- a lifetime in the consumer electronics world. That period was punctuated by two updates, bringing faster chips and a better display, but it's a full refresh we've all been waiting for, something to make the good ol' iPad look and feel truly new.

And here it is: the iPad Air. With this, the fifth generation of the iPad line, Apple has delivered a proper exterior redesign, crafting a substantially thinner and lighter tablet that finally eliminates the chunky bezels handed down since the first generation -- at least on the left and right. But, despite this significant exterior reduction, the iPad Air maintains the battery life of its predecessor and offers significantly better performance.

KEY FEATURES OF APPLE IPAD AIR WITH WI-FI + CELLULAR

  • A7 Chip with M7 Co-processor
  • 9.7-inch Touchscreen
  • FaceTime
  • iOS 7
  • Internal Memory: 16 GB
  • Wi-Fi Enabled
  • 5 MP Primary Camera
  • 1.2 MP Secondary Camera
  • Full HD Recording

Design

The iPad Air features a body that can be deemed slim, sporting a height of 9.4 inches and a width of 6.6 inches. Accompanying you in your daily life and becoming an extension of your arm, the tablet will hardly weigh you down. The aluminium unibody design deserves much more than just a passing glance - while being unobtrusive, it is also durable enough to stand the rigors of everyday existence

Display

With thinner bezels and overall width, the focus will be on the content itself rather than the device. The 9.7 inch Retina display of the iPad Air, with a pixel density of 264 ppi and a screen resolution of 2048 x 1536, treats your eyes to a stunning array of colors in every visual, with just the right amount of brightness and astounding clarity.

With LED backlighting and IPS technology, the multitouch screen makes multitasking easy. It also sports oleophobic coating ensures that what your view is not covered with fingerprints and smudges, despite constant use.

Processor

Powered by Apple's home-grown A7 chip with 64-bit architecture, this iPad Air processes functions efficiently to give you good speed. Apps you open are launched at lightning speed and the graphics-rich game runs without any hitches or lag with the A7 processor. It also supports OpenGLES v3.0 that adds more detail to the graphics and visual effects.

Complementing the A7 is the M7 motion coprocessor that lends efficiency to the built-in sensors to allow the apps to adapt to the functions and give you a customized, intuitive performance and responsiveness.

Camera

Armed with the 5 megapixel iSight camera, this iPad Air lets you frame and click crisp, bright pictures with great exposure and clarity whenever you want, wherever you are. The camera works with the image signal processor in the A7 chip to adjust the details automatically, letting you click the perfect photograph without any manual effort or adjustments. What's more, capture the entire moment to relive at another time in full 1080p HD video with just a swipe on the screen.

A 1.2 megapixel front camera, aided by dual microphones, allows you to video chat with a loved one with good clarity and detail; conversations look and feel better on this FaceTime HD camera. The camera features a backside illumination sensor to allow for more light to be captured in every frame.

Review Of Apple Air Pad

Black_Tech_by_monkeymagico

The Good The iPad Air delivers more performance and comparable battery life in an attractive and impossibly thin-and-light package. An improved front-facing camera makes FaceTiming look better, and the Retina Display still looks great.

The Bad The Touch ID fingerprint scanner, introduced on the iPhone 5S, is sadly absent here, meaning you’ll still have to type in a passcode with every unlock and a password with every purchase. Starting at $499 for 16GB, it’s still expensive compared with the competition.

The Bottom Line Functionally, the iPad Air is nearly identical to last year’s model, offering only faster performance and better video chatting. But factor in design and aesthetics, and the iPad Air is on another planet. It’s the best full-size consumer tablet on the market.

Review From Flipkart

Dont get carried away by the bad remarks

Hello every one out there who is in a dilemma of whether to buy the ipad air or not dont get carried away by the review of rishabh jain..... he is saying that nothing much has changed but i being an owner of the ipad air 128gb wifi + cellular i can actually tel u that even though the ipad is a bit pricy but an amazing device as it can do things on a 2 core processor that even andriod tab and phones cant do with 8 cores of power..... pls rishabh dont go by the previous ipad models because this is a whole new product and dont think that u know every thing about the ipad just because u own one and drop terms like A6X processor i bet u dont even know how to change the wallpaper on your ipad .....

The best premium tablet out there!!!!!

Bought the ipad air last week from croma. I think the new ipad air is extremely pleasing in terms of visual aesthetics! I mainly use it as an ebook reader and it doesnt tire my hands even after 3-4 hours of holding it. Gaming too is great. I prefer playing certain games like FIFA on my ipad than my laptop! My friend owns a 3rd gen ipad which seems pretty heavy compared to the air! The new space gray (probably going to be a standard color henceforth) is quite premium. If you are ready to splurge a little extra on a tablet there should not be any question about the choice as you simply cannot go wrong with the air! Whether you want to upgrade to the air if you have an older gen ipad(3rd and 4th) is something which I cant really help you out on but I do suggest if you have a 2nd gen ipad(without retina) it is surely worth the upgrade. The only questions you should be thinking of are,
mini vs air ( bigger screen vs smaller screen), cellular or wifi only, storage space(16 32 64 or 128 gigs) and color(space gray/black vs silver/white).
For me the 16 gigs space gray+black, wifi + cellular ipad air was just the right tablet I wanted.

iPad Air - the best tab available in market!

Its lite when compared to other devices. The performance is super smooth. The only thing that I would want Apple to provide is expandable memory. Memory is too less when compared to today's technologies, applications, demand to remain up to date with information. Retina Display is something everyone in my family cherishes. My 1 year 9 months old loves to watch animation movies in it and we are not worried at all for his eyes now. More than me its he who uses it for his learning and entertainment.
Games and Book reading was never so relaxing. I just love reading e-books now. And yes, it helps me remain up to date with the events across the globe cause I love reading newspaper in iPad. No pain to eyes. So, fast and smoothly I can browse through pages.
I love my iPad air. Now, I rarely waste any paper and avoid notebooks during meetings :) The cellular version gives me the freedom to use is anywhere and everywhere. I think I made a good decision in changing my mind from 32gd non cellular to 16gb cellular.
Price - yes is costly. But If you want to have the best in the world, you got to pay more than what the average products cost.

Good Product Sadly a Few Flaws

5 stars to Flipkart for a timely delivery. They even replaced my first iPad when I found a problem with the screen. I noticed a speck of dust beneath the screen that I could not remove. On taking it to the service center, they told me that it was a problem beneath the screen and that it was eligible for a dead on arrival return. I applied for a return of the product to filpkart and a day day later, I have my new iPad in hand. Alas, the problem seems to be a systemic flaw in the manufacturing process. My new iPad also has a dust particle underneath the screen though it is really difficult to see. Others have reported the same problem with their iPads but it seems that there is no solution. It is a shame though, because otherwise it is a perfect tablet.

Google-Nexus-5-review-vs-nexus-4

Finally, we have an Android handset that deserves the Nexus name. The Nexus 5 is fast, gorgeous, and stocked with features (including LTE) and it is the device for showing the true power of the Google universe and the Android operating system. And, at $349 (16GB) or $399 (32GB) at the Play Store -- about $250 less than other top-tier flagship smartphones -- it's a great deal whether you're on a budget or not (and whether you're an Android fan or not).

Yes, with a fast Snapdragon 800 processor, a sharp 1080p touch screen, and a competent battery, there's a lot to like about the Nexus 5 even if you never get past the main menu. But it's really the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system that we're here to see. Though not long on flashy new features, KitKat brings an ever deeper integration with Google's expanding array of services and a promise to end the age-old scourge of Android fragmentation.

Review Of Nexus 5

Black_Tech_by_monkeymagico

The Good The Google Nexus 5 has LTE for multiple carriers, a sleek and solid build, and an excellent price. It makes crystal-clear calls, battery life is long, and integration of Google Now is deep and wide.

The Bad The Nexus 5's screen is dimmer than its competitors' and its camera struggles under auto settings. While an important OS update, Android 4.4 KitKat is more conceptual than feature-rich.

The Bottom Line Strong performance, high-end specs, and an ultra-affordable price make the Google Nexus 5 not just the best unlocked phone on the market, but the best Nexus phone by far.

Reviews From Flipkart

Stop Criticizing!!!!

coming soon doesn't mean tomorrow or day after tomorrow..nexus 7(2013) is coming soon for the past 2 months..you have to pay extra because its not launched yet in india..so please stop bitching and giving bad reviews..take or leave it..sonebody is atleast trying to sell something which is not yet available..appreciate it!!!! PEACE

Killer Phone at this price

I didn't buy this on fipkart as it was not available then , i am writing this review after using the phone for 10 days. I have also got the kitkat update 4.4.2 .
pros :
a). The processor is a beast. it handles anything very smoothly , without a single lag.
b). the screen is awesome. you would love to watch movies & pictures in this phone. the 4.95 inch screen full hd screen with 445 ppi is the best you can have.
c). adreno 330 gpu does amazing work in handling all the graphics
d). 2gb ram
e) kitkat gives a wonderful android experience
f) camera is good , may not be the best in low lighting otherwise good, specially after the update . The HDR+ feature works very nicely.
g) if you love gaming , then you will love the phone .
h) reading news & magazines feels great in this phone due to the large screen with high resolution.
i) it is very light . back panel gives a nice grip.
cons
a) the major con is the battery. it has a battery of 2300 mah , which is normally good. but this phone has a 5inch screen with full HD, so the sreen drains a lot of battery. nexus 4 had 2100 mah battery. Nexus 5 should have a maor jump in battery. LG G2 has a 3000 mah battery which has the same processor & a 5.2 inch screen. Something like that would have been better. But it still manages to give backup for nearly a day.
b) auto brightness of the phone works too well. it gives you more brightness than required , eventually draining your battery
c) the speaker sound is very clear but a bit low. could have been better.
d) auto rotation feature of screen sometimes doesn't work that well, it is very rare though.
TIPS for saving battery
1) switch off wifi scanning(this is a feature to scan for wifi even if the the wifi is off)
2) don't use auto brightness , use manual instead
3) switch to 3G/2G if you are not using LTE network
4) turn on locations(GPS) only when required.
I would suggest to buy this phone as it is a great deal at this price. I would give it a 5 star only if they would have given a more powerful battery

A beast at an affordable price

I have being using this phone for a month now.. and i must say i just love it..
it can process anything in not in a second but in millisecond
screen is awesome, with a very crisp display with 441ppi
with adreno 330 gpu the gaming experience is top class..
with the barometer support phone gives the location accurate by a metre and makes navigation easy.
charging time is good, it can get fully charged in about 2 hours using standard travel charger, never tried wireless charging though
and the headphones are pretty good and can hear it clearly even during travelling in a bus or train.. the loudspeakers are also loud enough with about 68db
WiFi signal locking on pretty good, it can catch on the signal at 30-40 ft from router.
the tethering speed on all modes (USB,WiFi,Bluetooth) is pretty fast
if any calls from unknown number is received it shows the location of number searching from Google instantaneously..at-least you can guess who it might be..that is a pretty nice feature.. don't know if it is available in other phones
slimport support is far more better than MHL. you dont need an additional power cable like in the case of MHL.. you just need to plug in an go..
google voice search is correct most of the time and i am enjoying this feature..
only downside is the battery. it last only for about 12 hours. it is mainly due to powerfull screen..
camera options are less.nevertheless you can download the camera app from google play store
thats it for now. will let you know more later.

Facebook Introduces Mobile Ad

Network

Zuck

Facebook unveiled its new mobile ad network on Wednesday during its F8 developers conference.
The ad network, called the Audience Network, aims to make it easier for mobile developers to pick the appropriate ad formats that work for their app and letting the more than one million advertisers on Facebook better target ads for particular apps.

"We've done a lot of work already in the past years to help you build and grow your apps," Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's cofounder and CEO, said during the presentation. "This is really the first time that we are going to help you monetize on mobile."
Facebook has acknowledged it was testing such an ad network since January. Wednesday's formal introduction may help Facebook to boost its mobile ad revenue even more. Mobile ads accounted for 59% of Facebook's total ad revenue in the March quarter, compared to essentially nothing when the company went public in May, 2012.
With Audience Network, Facebook is competing against other ad networks like Twitter's MoPub and Google AdMob.
Facebook stock was up just more than 1% in midday trading following the event.

HTC One Features || HTC One Price In India || HTC One Full Specification || HTC One  Review

nexusae0_HTC-One_3V_Black

As HTC's new flagship Smartphone, the HTC One is packed to the rafters with top-notch components and technologies including some of the latest processing gear from Qualcomm. In addition to being state-of-the-art, the successor to 2012's HTC One X is lovingly crafted from premium metals , leaving no doubt that the Taiwanese Smartphone manufacturer has put a considerable amount of blood, sweat, and tears into this handset.

HTC definitely brought its A game, and it needs to to defeat its archrival, the Samsung Galaxy S4 . Like all other smart phones though, the One isn't perfect -- it lacks an SD card slot for extra storage expansion as well as a removable battery. The camera isn't quite as revolutionary as advertised. Android purists may not love HTC's Sense UI skin, and the One's no removable Blink Feed news reader isn't particularly welcome.

KEY FEATURES OF HTC One

  • Dual SIM:

SIM1:- Up to HSPA (900/2100 MHz) and up to EVDO REV. A (800 MHz)

SIM2:- Up to EDGE (900/1800/1900 MHz)

  • 2.1 MP Secondary Camera
  • 1.7 GHz Quad Core Processor
  • UltraPixel Primary Camera
  • Full HD Recording
  • Expandable Storage Capacity of 64 GB
  • Android Jelly Bean OS
  • 4.7-inch Full HD Capacitive Touchscreen

UltraPixel Camera

The HTC One captures 300 per cent more light in each frame with its UltraPixel 4 MP primary camera that brings ultimate clarity and detail to each life-like photo that you capture with ease.

The phone supports full HD recording and automatically captures up to 20 photos and one three second video for every picture that you click, giving you dynamic photography in a platter. The HTC Video Highlights feature crafts its own video show of any event which is completely customizable and easily shareable. It comes with a 2.1 MP secondary camera for easy video chats as well.

Dual SIM Cards

Eliminating the need to maintain two separate phones for the office and home, the HTC One comes with dual SIM support that lets you customize based on what you need from two different networks, letting you get the best of both. This also means that you have great coverage wherever you go.

Review Of HTC One

Black_Tech_by_monkeymagico

The Good The HTC One flaunts a stunning metal design, a powerful quad-core processor, and a beautiful 4.7-inch, 1080p screen. It runs Android Jelly Bean, takes great pictures, and has a feature-packed camera app.

The Bad The sealed case design means no SD expansion slot or user-replaceable battery. The BlinkFeed software can't be completely removed.

The Bottom Line A few quibbles notwithstanding, the powerhouse HTC One is a beautifully crafted, near-ideal smartphone.

Some Reviews From Flipkart

Please be careful while ordering the model, check the model number - details in the review below

- People who review should be careful before jumping to conclusion, this is a dual SIM phone availble in both
a) CDMA and GSM
b) WCDMA and GSM
combitnations, and HTC inida website says 900 /1800 MHZ for WCDMA and 800/1900 MHZ for CDMA EVDO rev 1
So please be careful before ordering which model number you order as per my research on chinese web site and XDA forum:
- HTC One 802d is CDMA variant i.e one sim slot for 2g and other slot for CDMA i.e will second sim will work only with operators like MTS, Reliance CDMA and TATA CDMA
- HTC One 802w is 3G/WCDMA variant i.e one sim for 2g and other for 3G/WCDMA i.e both sim will accept more popular providers like Airtel, Voda, Idea, Docomo, Reliance GSM etc. so it can work in 2G+2G or 2G + 3G/WCDMA
at speculated pirce of INR 46,495 this seems a bit high, should be priced under 40k. i think from the specs and performance prospective this is proven one.
I was planning to buy this from China as this one already available there, but at current rupee rate this would be unwise to do. So i will wait for it to reappear here.
Detailed reviews cane be found on internet with benchmark scores, pros and cons.
Updated: i called a seller selling this product, HTC One 802d is the version that is released in india and it works with GSM upto edge + GSM upto 3G in dual active mode here, due to frequency match and it works only on a particular CDMA frequency that is prevelant in US.

Plzzzz don’t buy this !!

i bought the single sim version of this phone on flipkart .. the phone was actually awesome nd i loved it
but just on the second day it slipped from my pocket nd fell glass facing the floor nd it got shattered completely .
,..i took it to the service center and they said it costs around 22k-27k o repair the glass and atleast 2 months for it as they have to send the phone outside india ..
it is almost impossible to repair the phone ..this uses zero gap technology and the parts are welded together ..the 1080 display too has to be replaced along with the gorilla glass ..nd the glass can only be removed using a heat gun and a suction cap..
This has got Ifixit repairability rating of 1/10 which is terribly low ( lowest ever for any phone ) ..
so ppl .. pleast think before buying ...youll never kno when accidensts happen .. just a small drop nd your 50k is lost forever ..

Worst Phone from HTC

Please don't buy the phone by going through the 5 star reviews. This is one of the worst phone ever i had used. After buying the phone it started hanging after a month, HTC support asked "Have u downloaded the 3rd party apps". A very stupid question.
They had upgraded the phone to the newer Android version, worked well for 15 days and then stopped responding, this time they said there is HW problem, and asked to wait for 15-20 days.
I am not sure if I will get my phone even in 30 days. There excuse is phone is new, hence will take time.
I request you guys please don't put your hard earned money in to this worst phone.
